What are fibroids, and why do you have them?  They are actually tumours made of smooth muscle tissue that grow in and around your womb. Most fibroids don’t have any further complications for most women, but some women really suffer.

Your doctor will give you an explanation of your fibroid, which largely describes where is is growing in the uterus. These include: submucous fibroids, which develop in the uterine cavity; intramural fibroids, which exist on the uterine wall; and subserous fibroids which are located outside the uterus. Unfortunately for some women, their fibroids can become so complicated that they are classified as more than one type, such as pedunculated subserosal.

So, what are fibroids treatments ? If your myoma is tiny, you may be told that there isn’t much that can be done for you until the fibroid grows large, or starts causing problems. Mostly because for every woman whose fibroids are as big as a six-month pregnancy, there was also a time when her fibroids were small, and had very little symptoms!
