Love Handle Exercises – Side Bends Won’t Work
Do any search on the net and you’ll hit a million websites that will promise to strip that fat from your love handles. Sadly most of it’s just fluff & rubbish. Designed to sell you some crap diet or some pills.
The usual suspect in the exercise for love handles category is the good old side bend. You hold something above your head, usually a broom handle or stick and then lean or bend left, then right. Then repeat, repeatedly. Get real! Of course, they rarely work.
They rarely work because you are trying to target just one small area. This is very difficult if not impossible. You’ll get a lot of know it alls telling you they do indeed work. Of course they work, but only when they are part of a complete system. Not just targeting one area.
You will lose weight from your love handles if you incorporate the side bends with an all round workout. If you have a healthy diet as well as a good workout system you will see far better results. It’s a simple fact. Burn more energy than you consume to lose weight.
Consuming energy means eating it, usually food. To burn energy off you simply have to do something that is active. Exercise usually. You can burn energy off (exercise) with any form of activity.
Could be any of these…walking, sex, swimming, jogging or even err … sex again! Any form of exercise is better than no form of exercise. The reason why people are getting fatter is they don’t burn off the calories that they eat.
You can exercise for your love handles all you want but if you ignore other areas you will simply get nowhere fast. If you are a naturally lazy person (like me) then swimming is probably your best all round exercise. If you are near a pool, then use it as the benefits can be huge.
I dislike jogging and the like. I see no reason to pay for a slim figure with wrecked knee joints. I believe the guy who brought us jogging keeled over and died while out jogging. He was discovered by 2 smokers walking past. Irony eh?

Can’t Lose Weight? It Doesn’t Have To Be This Way
Do you believe you can’t lose weight? Have you got a particular reason you can’t lose that excess fat? It’s a sad fact that most people firmly believe they can’t lose weight. That there’s a magical force stopping them from losing weight.
The truth is they are reluctant to lose any weight at all. They would be happy to simply carry on as they are. Yet they will openly say they want to, but can’t seem to lose weight.
It’s no magical secret. Weight loss is a simple mathematical problem. You need to burn off more calories than you eat. If you don’t use as many calories as you eat you will gain weight. Period.
On the other hand if we burn off slightly more than we eat we lose weight. They you have the big problem, today’s food is so packed full of calories it’s almost immoral. If you compared what you should be eating against what you do eat you would give yourself a funny turn. I kid you not.
Let’s look at a simple example, side bends as an exercise for love handles. Doing lots and lots of these will make you lose weight. However, how many you have to do is hard to guess. You have to calculate how many calories you are burning to balance the scales.
It’s easy to consume a full days calories in one go. Honestly! Fast food carries a huge amount of blame. Even the non sweet stuff can be packed with sugar. Sugar makes you get hungry quicker after digestion.
Our body converts most foods into a simple sugar called glucose, and uses this for energy. Sweet foods get used up much quicker by the body leaving you feeling hungry a lot faster. So you tend to eat again. Some view our current (sugar packed) diets as a western world conspiracy to get us eating more, and ultimately spending more on food.
The more food we eat, the more money we spend, the more big industry gets rich. Big business gets richer by the day with this simple formula. Of course, the simplest way to get us eating more is adding sugar to everything we eat.
Like in a bar when there’s peanuts or pretzels on the bar to nibble on. We eat the salt and get thirsty so we buy more beer. So, in conclusion to all this, the fact of the matter is you will lose weight by simply eating slightly less than you burn off. Can you achieve this without help? I very much doubt it as willpower these days pretty scarce.
You need a system to follow. Something to hold your hand every step of the way. A system that will guarantee you drop those unwanted pounds if you follow the rules. If you’ve tried other stuff and still believe you can’t lose weight it’s time you tried something else. Something that works!
